The endless generosities shown to TAS and, by extension, the birds, by the Whisk Gourmet team year in and year out are humbling. Indeed, 2021 marked our 10-year "Dine Out at Whisk Summer Series" anniversary, a symbiotic partnership in which 10% of dinner revenues from 3 designated Tuesdays are tithed to TAS.
While we can never thank Whisk enough, we can express our perennial gratitude by encouraging our members and friends to support our 56th Avenue near-neighbor when ordering out or dining out again. Our favorite bastion of Southern-accented American Comfort Food offers Take-out, Curbside-pick-up or two On-site Dining options: indoor seating at 50% capacity or outdoor socially distanced covered seating.
The recently reimagined Whisk menu was authored by new Executive Chef Michelle Minotti (pictured). She brings generous helpings of New Orleans and Caribbean influences to a beloved menu also offering time-tested house favorites. Born in Venezuela to Italian and American parents, Chef Michelle's colorful heritage and kitchen repertoire are simpatico with Whisk's always bright, boldly flavored seasonal cuisine. Joining the Whisk family also marks her return to the South Miami dining scene, where she played a starring role from 2005-2015 as chef/owner of GEMS Café.
