Employment and internship opportunities

Tropical Audubon Society is looking to grow our team. If you have a passion for conservation and would like to help support our mission to “Conserve and restore South Florida's ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife and their habitats,” then Tropical Audubon is the place for you.

We presently do not have any open positions.

Internships

TAS welcomes enthusiastic and passionate student intern applicants!

Our Internship Program is designed to support our Mission by enabling interns to work closely with a staff mentor to deliver our education, outreach programs, conservation and advocacy initiatives. It is our goal to provide meaningful development opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students that allow the intern to grow their professional knowledge and experience working for a non-profit organization, while providing support to our programs.

Whenever possible, we will identify a project that the intern can complete, aided by staff supervision, during the internship period. Most TAS internships are designed to conclude with a concrete deliverable that is a credit to the intern and helps our organization advance its education, conservation or advocacy agendas.

Interested?! Please apply via volunteer@tropicalaudubon.org and indicate whether you are interested in Conservation & Legal, Education, Events, Habitat Restoration, History or Media (see those descriptions below).

Note: We do not offer internships for high school students due to our limited capacity.
