Learn about TAS patron and area pioneer Arden Hayes “Doc” Thomas and Robert Fitch Smith, the architect commissioned to design the charming Florida vernacular home. Discover the home's distinctive wood-and-limestone construction and explore our society's near-native Steinberg Nature Center campus.
Designated a county, state, and national historic site, the house is a Florida vernacular architectural gem sited within 2.2 acres of wooded property.
