Field trip leader Paddy Cunningham will lead an all-female, Phoebes Birding walk through Evergreen Cemetery, a migrant trap and bird oasis in eastern Ft. Lauderdale due to its proximity to the coast. The numerous mature Live Oaks and Strangler Figs provide the food and necessary cover for a variety of songbirds, exotics and the raptors that feed on them.
Time permitting, join us for a possible extension of the trip to nearby Colohatchee Park for picnic and short additional birding.
