Brian Rapoza will lead this full day trip to birding locations along Tamiami Trail (US 41) in Collier County. Participants are required to provide or arrange their own transportation to the trip’s starting point and from location to location. Meet at 7:30 am in the parking area at the Oasis Visitor Center in Big Cypress National Preserve (map). Stops may include the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk at Fakahatchee Strand State Park, the Marsh Trail and Observation Tower at Ten Thousand Islands NWR, Eagle Lakes Community Park and Sugden Regional Park in Naples and the Belle Mead Horse Trail in Picayune Strand State Forest. Bring lunch.
