Jake Tucker and I saw a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak this morning at Miami-Dade College Env. Center in Kendall. I had one last year in the same area last winter and she stuck around until end of February 2012. I wonder if it is the same bird. Other birds seen at the Center and MDC Campus were:

Turkey Vulture
American Kestrel
Collared Dove
Mourning Dove
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Eastern Phoebe
Fish Crow
Blue Jay
White-eyed Vireo
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Brown Thrasher
N. Mockingbird
Orange-crowned Warbler
N. Parula
Palm Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Pine Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (f)
N. Cardinal
